Plank Lane Swing Bridge

for approximately 13 weeks - please see how this will affect our services

584 - Leigh to Crankwood (Mon to Fri)
Unfortunately, the 0651 journey from Leigh to Golborne and the 0705
Golborne to Leigh will not operate. The journey will be replaced by an
0705 Leigh to Crankwood and return to Leigh at 0714 as normal.
All other 584 Crankwood journeys are as normal.
588 - Leigh to Lowton, Scott Road (Mon to Sat)
To operate via St Helens Road, Newton Road, Sandy Lane,
Byrom Lane, Slag Lane to Scott Road, Lowton and return via
the reverse of this route to Leigh Bus Station.
Same times from Leigh and Scott Road.
589 - Leigh to Lowton Circular (Mon to Sat)
To operate via St Helens Road, Newton Road, Sandy Lane,
Byrom Lane, Slag Lane and then normal route to Leigh Bus Station.
Same times from Leigh and Slag Lane, Lowton.
592 - Leigh to Lowton Circular (one morning journey - Mon to Fri)
To operate from Lowton inwards via Slag Lane, Byrom Lane,
Sandy Lane, Newton Road, St Helens Road to Leigh.
An extra bus to operate the 0832 Mon to Fri journey -
Crankwood to Leigh Bus Station.
591 - Leigh to Lowton Circular (one morning journey - Mon to Fri)
To commence at an earlier time at Common Lane/Plank Lane and operate via
Firs Lane and Twist Lane to Leigh Bus Station - then via St Helens Road,
Newton Road, (Lowton High School), Sandy Lane, Byrom Lane, Slag Lane and
then normal route to Lowton High School and Leigh Bus Station.

988 - Leigh to Golborne High School and Hope Academy, Newton (Schooldays)
To commence at an earlier time at Plank Lane Swing Bridge and operate
via Firs Lane and Twist Lane to Leigh Bus Station - then via St Helens Road,
Newton Road, Sandy Lane, Byrom Lane, Slag Lane and then normal route
to Golborne High School and Hope Academy.
Same times from Leigh and Lowton.
